The Overview Screen

When ActivePcOptimizer starts, the system Overview screen is the default screen. To navigate from one screen to the other, you need to click on the tabs in the navigation panel, along the top of the screen.

This Overview screen is separated into two sections: the System Status on the right and the System error Summary section on the leftt.

System Status
Based on the results of the last scan the System Status column shows a graphic clearly expressing the health of your System. It would be Low, Good or Excellent.
System Overview
The main area contains the System overview and a report showing summary details of:
The date of the last System scan
The number of errors found in the last System scan
The number of errors fixed following the last System scan
The total number of errors found by ActivePcOptimizer
The total number of errors fixed by ActivePcOptimizer
The total number of System defrags performed
Scanning information
Including the date of your last System scan, the results of that scan, and a button (Start Scan) to start a new scan.
The System Scan Screen

To access the System scan screen, click on the Scan tab on the navigation panel. On the left-hand side of the System scan screen you will see a sub-menu with three entries: System Scan, Ignore list, System repair logs. Clicking on each of these functions alternates relevant views or windows. System scan is the default window within the System scan screen. From here you may perform scans and configure the items in your System that should be scanned.


To configure settings, you should click the checkboxes. By default, ActivePcOptimizer performs complete scans. Each preference is explained in System Scan interface.

Results allows you to view the results window where ActivePcOptimizer displays all the errors and problems found within your System.

Once you have run your scan, the Results window pops up automatically to reveal the errors or problems found by ActivePcOptimizer. The problems found are displayed in the Attention bar.
Below the attention bar is a list of the errors found by ActivePcOptimizer. You may scroll this list and select individual entries to repair and which to leave unchanged.
ActivePcOptimizer also allows you to create a backup of your System entries before repairing errors found. To do this click on the Restore tab.
To repair the selected errors click on the Fix System button.
The System Defrag Screen
The System Defrag screen accesses the defrag window and functionality within ActivePcOptimizer.

Click on the Defrag System button to defrag your System.
We recommend that you close all applications before running the defrag as your PC may slow down.
The Restore Screen
Click the Restore tab to access the restore screen which lists all the System backups that you have created.
 
The Settings Screen

To access the settings screen, click on the Settings tab on the navigation panel. This screen allows you to configure ActivePcOptimizer, set up automatic scans and others.

On the left-hand side of the Settings screen you will see a sub-menu with three entries: General Settings, Auto-Repair Settings and Scheduling. Clicking on each of these functions alternates relevant views or windows.
